Isn't that sort of a dangerous position to be in. When I saw that warning I did not go any further. Please explain your position on that please. Hi RC, Not a dangerous thing. S mode is just a bit more secure as it can run only verified apps. In normal mode, you would be able to install apps from anywhere. Thanks Sumit, but do you know of any instance where someone switched out of S mode and experienced performance issues like slow startup or excessive buffering and the like.

That is my real concern, performance issues. I fully understand your concern. If you have a modern PC, you would not experience the same. Never I have seen such a problem on the forum :. That is indeed a true statement. I was reviewing the threads and noticed lots of people are having the same issue.

Microsoft has really done us in this time, and they are not allowing you out as noticed by the comments of people who tried. I hope they play fair and allow a true switch out of S mode.
